YOU TESTAMENT
Everyone has a story. We all have a story of how we came to know Jesus. These personal testimonies serve as a reminder of God's love, grace, and transformative power.
Episodes
Chapter 1
DECEPTION
Genesis 3:13 "And the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
Much like Eve in the Garden of Eden, when was the first time you felt deceived? What age were you? Deception is a complex and devastating experience that leaves a lasting impact on anyone it touches.
Simply, it is the devil’s practice to send temptation through people we do not suspect and that have the most influence over us. We can learn from this first incident of deception and disobedience what dishonor and trouble sin will bring into our lives.
Chapter 2
DISCERNMENT
Romans 12:2 "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will."
The spiritual gift of discernment is one of the most important gifts that a person can have—it's learning to think God‘s thoughts after Him, practically and spiritually; it means having a sense of how things look in God‘s eyes through His Word.
So, when you have discernment, you can separate what’s true from what’s false, what’s real from what is not. Discernment helps you decide whether or not something is right for you spiritually or in life.
Chapter 3
DELIVERANCE
Psalms 34:7 “You are a hiding place for me; you preserve me from trouble; you surround me with shouts of deliverance. Selah.”
John 8:32 "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
Deliverance is the total and permanent removal of the power and authority of the kingdom of darkness over your life. Deliverance means to be set-free—free from spiritual bondage as it affects people physically through oppression, depression, sickness, mental torment, and addictions.
In the New Testament God delivered His people out of the bondage of satan to the freedom of a New Creation through Jesus.
Chapter 4
DISCIPLE
Matthew 28:19-20 "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel (Good News) to the whole creation.”
A true disciple of Jesus is someone who follows Jesus, is transformed by Jesus, and is dedicated to the mission of Jesus.
Sharing the gospel is much more important than anything this world can offer us—it can help others find salvation and eternal life. When you become disciple for Jesus, you will have the most amazing story to tell and will want to share the Good News to all creation.
