Tell Me The Good News

Welcome

God bless you today in Jesus' name.

My name is Dawn, and if you've been searching for peace, purpose, truth, healing, or simply wondering if God is real, you're not alone.

I grew up in a Christian home. My father was a preacher and pastored a church for many years. My grandmother was the first person to introduce me to Jesus as a child. She would take me to choir practice, and I loved listening to the elders teach God's Word. From a young age, I developed a love for worship, fellowship, and being in the presence of God.

As I got older, life took me from Georgia to New York, and somewhere along the way, I drifted away from God. Then my mother became very ill. She was living in a nursing home, and I made the decision to bring her back to Georgia to live with me and my daughter.

What followed was one of the hardest seasons of my life.

It felt like adversity, hardship, and spiritual attacks were coming from every direction. One difficult situation after another seemed to appear. During that time, my father encouraged me to stop carrying everything on my own and give it to God. He told me to pray and ask the Lord for direction.

So I did.

Every day, I would go into my closet and talk to God. At first, it felt like nothing was changing. But I kept praying because I had nowhere else to turn.

Little by little, something began to happen.

My circumstances didn't change overnight, but my heart did. My spirit began to change. I started relying less on myself and more on God's Word and the Holy Spirit. I watched God move in ways I cannot fully explain. My mother's situation improved, doors began to open, and I experienced a peace that only comes from Him.

That season marked the beginning of a completely different walk with God, and I thank Jesus every day for it.

Whether we met in a conversation or you found your way here on your own, I'm truly glad you're here. My prayer is that this space helps you grow closer to the Way, the Truth, and the Life—and that's Jesus.

Take your time exploring. And if you need anything or simply want someone to talk to, you can always reach out through Grace, our chatbot. We'd genuinely love to connect with you.
