The Bible is God’s Word to you. When you open it, you are hearing His voice, His promises, and His love for you.

Baptism
Be Baptized
Baptism follows salvation. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. You are now a follower of Jesus, a disciple, be baptized.

Baptism is a public way of showing that you belong to Jesus. It is an outward sign of the new life He has given you. When you go under the water, it represents your old life being buried. When you come up, it represents being raised to new life in Christ.

Why a Physical Bible Matters
There’s something powerful about holding God’s Word in your hands. A Bible on your phone is convenient, but a Bible in your hands is grounding. Both are good, and together they help you grow strong in your faith.
The Bible has been translated many times to make it easy to read and understand. Here are a few solid choices for new believers:
- NASB 1995 — very accurate, word-for-word, great for deep study.
- ESV (English Standard Version) — faithful and readable.
- NIV (New International Version) — clear and easy to follow.
- NLT (New Living Translation) — thought-for-thought, very beginner-friendly.
If you’re just starting out, try the NLT or NIV for easy reading. Then as you grow, explore the NASB or ESV for deeper study.
