Testimonies
Real journeys of people who discovered that the pain caused by Christians pointed them to the true character of Jesus.
The Big Questions
Why are Christians sometimes so hypocritical?
Because Christians are human, and humans are imperfect.
The Bible says that everyone falls short of God’s standard (Romans 3:23). Sometimes people claim the name of Jesus but do not live like Him, and that causes hurt and confusion. Hypocrisy grieves God too. Jesus spoke strongly against religious hypocrisy in His day (Matthew 23)
The failure of people does not change who Jesus is. He is perfect, faithful, and true, and He calls His followers to grow in love, humility, and integrity. When Christians fail, it shows our need for grace, not a flaw in Christ Himself.
How can I trust Jesus if His people failed me?
It hurts when people who claim to follow Jesus act in ways that do not reflect Him. But remember, the failures of people are not the failures of Christ.
The Bible says,“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith” (Hebrews 12:2) He is faithful even when people are not (2 Timothy 2:13)
Jesus Himself warned that some would misuse His name, yet He remains the truth, the way, and the life (John 14:6)
You can trust Him because He never changes, and His love will not fail you.
Does Jesus care about the hurt I’ve experienced?
Yes. The Bible says,“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit”(Psalm 34:18)
Jesus understands pain because He experienced betrayal, rejection, and even crucifixion. He promises,“Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest”(Matthew 11:28)
Your hurt matters to Him, and He offers comfort, healing, and peace that the world cannot give (John 14:27)
Can I follow Jesus without trusting every Christian?
Yes. Following Jesus starts with Him, not people. He will guide you into real, healthy community in time. Your faith is in Jesus, not in people.
The Bible says,“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith”(Hebrews 12:1–2) People, even Christians, will sometimes fail because all have sinned (Romans 3:23)
But Jesus will never fail you. He is faithful and true, and you can trust Him completely (Revelation 19:11)

What If You Just Asked?
We know Christians can hurt people. Churches can fail. Maybe you have felt judged, rejected, or pushed away, and it left you wondering if Jesus is the same.
But what if you asked Him yourself? Say: ‘Jesus, if You are real, show me who You are.'
